Welcome to my studio!
My name is Réka Csabai, and I am an animal sculptor.
I create ceramic sculptures inspired by animals.
What interests me most is not perfect anatomy or physical resemblance, but the quiet moments when an animal is simply itself.
A long exhale. A watchful gaze. The complete relaxation after play. The subtle posture of an animal that feels safe enough to let go of all tension.
I believe these fleeting, everyday moments reveal far more than any carefully arranged pose. They are when trust, curiosity, calmness, and quiet presence become visible without words.
That is why my sculptures are not simply animal portraits.
They are portraits of moments.
Each piece is hand-sculpted and one of a kind. My goal is not only to capture an animal's form, but to preserve the inner state that becomes visible for just a brief moment — and transform it into something timeless.
