Each RECA Ceramic sculpture is a unique, handmade ceramic artwork. Below you will find the most important information about purchasing a sculpture or placing a custom order.
Purchasing an available sculpture

Payment is made by bank transfer. The sculpture will be shipped after the full purchase price and shipping cost have been received. An electronic invoice will be issued for your purchase.
Shipping
The listed prices do not include shipping.
Shipping costs are calculated individually based on the destination, size and weight of the parcel and will be confirmed before the purchase is finalised.
Each sculpture is carefully packaged. Depending on the destination and the individual shipment, I use GLS, FedEx, MPL or Express One.
For deliveries outside the European Union, any customs duties, import VAT, taxes or other local charges are the responsibility of the buyer.
Damage during shipping
Please check the sculpture as soon as possible after receiving the parcel.
If you notice any damage that may have occurred during shipping, please contact me at recaceramic@gmail.com, preferably within 12 hours, and send photographs of the sculpture, the outer and inner packaging and the shipping label.
Prompt notification helps with investigating any shipping damage. The request to notify me within 12 hours does not limit any statutory consumer rights.
Custom orders
Custom sculptures are created from the photographs and videos you provide and according to the details agreed in advance.
A 50% deposit is payable when I actually begin work on the sculpture. The date on which work begins may be later than the date on which the order is agreed.
Before firing, I will send photographs and/or a video of the finished clay sculpture. At this stage, reasonable minor adjustments can still be made. Once the sculpture has been approved and the drying process has begun, its form can no longer be altered.
The remaining 50% and the shipping cost are payable before the finished sculpture is shipped.
The usual completion time is approximately 5–6 weeks from the start of the work, but this is an estimate. Ceramic is a natural material and unexpected technical issues can occasionally occur during drying or firing. If this happens, the completion time may need to be extended.
Right of withdrawal
When a consumer purchases an already completed sculpture at a distance, they have the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal.
The direct cost of returning the sculpture in the event of withdrawal is borne by the buyer.
Please return the sculpture carefully and securely packaged, preferably using the original packaging, to protect it during transport.
The statutory 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to a custom sculpture made specifically to the customer's requirements and clearly personalised. This does not affect statutory rights in the event of defective performance.
Warranty rights and complaints
Customers are entitled to the statutory rights applicable to defective goods.

In the event of a consumer dispute, consumers may also contact the competent Hungarian conciliation body.
